                    一、资助对象 ELIGIBILITY
1. 非中国籍公民，身体健康；Applicants must be a citizen of a country other than the People’s Republic of China, and be in good health
2. 学历和年龄要求The requirements for applicants’ degree and age are that applicants must:
●攻读硕士学位者，须具有学士学位，年龄不超过35岁；
be a bachelor’s degree holder under the age of 35 when applying for the master’s programs;
●攻读博士学位者，须具有硕士学位，年龄不超过40岁
be a master’s degree holder under the age of 40 when applying for the doctoral programs.
3. 语言水平要求：The requirements for applicants’ language ability:
●攻读中文授课专业者，原则上须具备HSK4级证书（210分以上），证书有效期为两年。
HSK level 4 ( more than 210 credits) within the two-year validity is necessary for applicants for Chinese-taught program;
●攻读英文授课专业者，请提供英文水平考试证明，母语为英语的申请者或者前一阶段学历授课语言为英文的申请者免于提供语言水平考试证明
Certificate of English ability is required for applicants for English-taught program. English native speakers or applicants whose latest study English programs are exempt from certificate.

四、资助内容 COVERAGE &CRITERIA
中国政府奖学金资助内容包括：学费、住宿费、生活费和综合医疗保险费。
Chinese Government Scholarship provides full coverage on tuition fee, accommodation fee, living allowance and comprehensive medical insurance expenses.

六、申请资料APPLICATION DOCUMENTS
1、《中国政府奖学金申请表》（中文或英文）；
Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship (written in Chinese or English);
2、护照照片页复印件；
Copy of passport;
3、经公证的最高学历证明（毕业预期证明）和学习成绩单，中英文以外文本须附经公证的中文或英文的译文；
Notarized highest diploma;
Prospective diploma recipients must submit official document issued by your current school to prove your current student status or expected graduation date. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations.
Academic transcripts (written in Chinese or English);
Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations.
4、来华学习和研究计划。用中文或英文书写（不少于800字）；
A Study Plan or Research Proposal (written in Chinese or English);
This should be a minimum of 800 words for postgraduate program applicants
5、推荐信。两名教授或副教授的推荐信，用中文或英文书写；
Two Recommendation Letters (written in Chinese or English);
Applicants for undergraduate program and postgraduate program must submit two recommendation letters signed by professors or associate professors;
6、申请中文授课类专业需提供HSK成绩报告（有效期两年）；
The copy of valid HSK Certificate (necessary for applicants for Chinese-taught program);
7、无犯罪记录证明。因特殊原因无法提供者，请提交有本人签名的《无犯罪记录承诺书》（附后）
Certificate of None-criminal Record. Please submit None-criminal Record Letter of Commitment (see Appendix 2) if it is indeed impossible to provide the Certificate.
8、申请学习音乐专业的学生须提交本人作品的光盘；申请学习美术专业的学生须提供本人2张素描画、2张色彩画以及2张其它作品的光盘；
A CD of your own works (only required for arts students);
Applicants for music studies are requested to submit a CD of their own musical works. Applicants for the fine arts programs must submit a CD of their own works which include two sketches, two color paintings and two other works;
9、《外国人体格检查表》复印件。登录国家留学基金委网站http://www.csc.edu.cn/laihua 或 http://www.campuschina.org 下载，英文填写。申请人应严格按照《外国人体格检查表》中要求的项目进行检查。缺项、未贴本人照片或照片上未盖骑缝章、无医师和医院签字盖章的《外国人体格检查表》无效。检查结果有效期为6个月。
Foreigner Physical Examination Form (photocopy) (The original copy will be kept by yourself and the form is uniformly printed by Chinese healthy quarantine departments. It must be written in English and can be downloaded from http://www.csc.edu.cn/studyinchina or http://www.campuschina.org).
七、申请流程APPLICATION PROCEDURES
1、申请者请登录国家留学基金委留学生在线申请系统（访问 http://www.csc.edu.cn/studyinchina or http://www.campuschina.org ，点击“留学生在线申请”进入系统），填写《中国政府奖学金申请表》并将填好的表格打印。在线填写申请时，请确保机构代码填写正确（山东师范大学代码：10445）。
Complete the online application procedure at CGS Information Management System for International StudentsStudents (Visit http://www.csc.edu.cn/studyinchina or http://www.campuschina.org and click “Application Online” to register), submit online the completed Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship, and print a hard copy. Make sure you type in the correct Agency Number (the Agency Number of Shandong Normal University is 10445) when logging in for online application.
2、山东师范大学审核申请者材料，确定拟录取名单并联系拟录取学生登录“山东师范大学国际学生在线服务系统”在线注册并提交报名材料；
Shandong Normal University reviews the application documents and decides the nominated candidates. Nominated candidates need to register on International Students Service System of SDNU (detailed information will be issued to the nominated candidates’ email).
3、山东师范大学提交拟录取名单至国家留学基金委，留学基金委对拟录取申请者的能力和资格进行审核后确定最终录取名单；每名奖学金获得者只能获得一个中国政府奖学金项目的资助；
Nominated candidates will get Chinese Government Scholarships to study in China with approval of the CSC.CSC reserves the rights to decide the host university for scholarship recipients with multiple offers. Each scholarship recipient—even when admitted by multiple universities—will be granted no more than one scholarship.
4、7月初，山东师范大学向最终录取者发送录取通知（录取材料的制作以届时疫情防控要求为准）。
The CSC reviews eligibility and qualifications of nominated candidates, approves the List of Scholarship Recipients, and sends the admission documents to universities before June 30th. University sends the admission noticeto scholarship recipients at the beginning of July（Whether the admission materials will be done or not will depend on the epidemic development at that time）.
